Based on our area's current National Weather Service forecast, a Snow Emergency is being declared for Carbon Cliff beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 12, and ending at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13. The National Weather Service predicts heavy snow with 4 to 7 inches of accumulation.
All streets and roadways within the Village Corporate Limits are designated snow routes. Parking on the street is prohibited during a Snow Emergency. Vehicles parked on the street will receive a $75.00 parking ticket even if the vehicle is not towed. For streets without curb and gutter, the area plowed will extend six (6) feet off the edge of either side of the street’s main surface. Vehicles must remain off the street for 72 hours after the storm has ended or until the Village releases the snow emergency.
