PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that the Carbon Cliff Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at the request of Jack and Ruth Thomson, also known as Solar Acres, to review and consider the Final Plat of Parcel No. 06-110-17, Unit 17 Subdivision to Villa Pines Condominium, proposed subdivision with recommendations to the full Board of Trustees, on the following described property:
Hampton Township Parcel No. 06-110-17 “Unit 17 Subdivision of Villa Pines Condominium”, commonly known as 2033 Villa Pines Circle, Carbon Cliff, Illinois.

Said public hearing will be held on Monday, January 30, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at the Carbon Cliff Village Hall, 106 1st Avenue, Carbon Cliff, Illinois, at which time the Planning Commission will hear any testimony for or against the petition.

MONTHLY MEETING NOTICE

Carbon Cliff Sports Club Meeting to be held on Thursday, February 02, 2012 at  6:30 p.m. at the Carbon Cliff Fire Station (305 2nd Avenue, Carbon Cliff, Illinois).  Agenda Items:  Plan fundraisers and discuss the 2012 summer season.  Anyone interested in being a Coach, Umpire or Volunteer should also attend.

Snow Removal and Snow Routes:

After Two (2) Or More Inches Of Snow Have Fallen, No Parking Shall Be Allowed On Any Village Street.
No Parking Ban Shall Be Lifted Seventy-Two (72) Hours After Snowfall Or Until The Street Has Been Cleared.

All streets and avenues within the corporate limits of the Village are designated as snow routes and no parking of vehicles shall be allowed on either side of streets, avenue and / or courts including cul-de-sacs after two inches of snow has fallen within the Village corporate limits.  The ban upon parking shall extend for a seventy-two (72) hour period after the snowfall or until the route has been plowed, clear of snow by the Village.  Owners and / or drivers of vehicles shall be responsible for compliance with this section and shall be subject to penalty as provided and liable for any expense incurred in the towing of any vehicle.  The Village Board shall designate from time to time a privately owned wrecker service to tow any cars illegally parked from a snow route and to impound the vehicle until reclaimed by the owner at the owner’s expense or otherwise deposed of and the private wrecker service is authorized to remove from any snow route as directed by the Village Board or Village Police Department the motor vehicle.  Penalty:  It shall be a violation of the Traffic Regulations, Article 3, of the Ordinances of the Village to leave or permit to be left on any street or avenue designated as a snow route a vehicle as defined in this article.

Private Drive Snow Removal:

DO NOT SHOVEL, PLOW OR BLOW SNOW BACK ONTO VILLAGE STREETS.

It shall be unlawful to clean private drives or sidewalks in such a manner as shall result in the deposit of snow into the public ways due to the snow removal from such private drives or sidewalks.

JUDICIAL FORECLOSURE PROCEDURE ACT:

IN ACCORDANCE WITH PUBLIC ACT 096-0856, EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 31, 2009, AMENDING THE JUDICIAL FORECLOSURE PROCEDURE ACT, ALL ORDERS OF FORECLOSURES WITHIN THE JURISDICTION / CITY LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF CARBON CLIFF SHALL BE SENT TO:
